About Holidays Journey
Holidays Journey is a travel company based in Haridwar, Uttarakhand. We plan Char Dham Yatra, Himalayan holidays and journeys across India for travellers who want their trip shaped around them.
Our story
Haridwar is where the Ganga leaves the Himalaya and where most journeys into Uttarakhand begin. Holidays Journey was founded here by Harsh Verma to plan those journeys the way a local would plan them for family: with a clear sense of the roads, the seasons and the places worth slowing down for.
Our work centres on Uttarakhand and its spiritual heart. The Char Dham of Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath, the Ganga towns of Haridwar and Rishikesh, and the hill stations and high meadows of Garhwal and Kumaon are routes we travel and plan throughout the season.
From this base we also arrange journeys across India: temple circuits, family holidays, honeymoons and longer tours that link the mountains with the plains, the desert and the coast. Wherever the journey goes, the planning starts the same way, with a conversation about how you like to travel.

Our philosophy
Five commitments run through every journey we plan, whether it is a two-day visit to Rishikesh or a fortnight through the Himalaya.
We plan for the moments that stay with you: darshan without hurry, a sunrise from the right ridge, an evening with nowhere to be. The itinerary serves those moments rather than the other way round.
There is no fixed template. We ask about your dates, who is travelling, the pace you keep and what matters most, and build the plan from those answers.
Sensible driving days, reliable vehicles and stays chosen for rest as much as location. Mountain travel asks enough of you without the plan adding to it.
Clear inclusions, realistic expectations and straightforward answers before you commit. If something is uncertain, such as weather or road conditions, we say so.
We live at the start of these roads. Route timings, seasonal closures, where to halt and who to call are decisions made from experience, not from a brochure.
